Research/Awards
Dr Lim’s research interests in Neurology & Sleep Medicine include Sleep Disorders in the Singapore population, Restless Legs Syndrome, Sleep & Headaches, Sleep Disorders in Parkinson’s Disease, and Neuromuscular Diseases in Sleep Disorders. She has received numerous research grants for her research in Sleep Medicine and Neurology (in Headaches and Epilepsy), from the National Sleep Foundation in the United States, the American Headache Society, the Cleveland Clinic Foundation Research Programs Council and the National Medical Research Council (NMRC) in Singapore.

Her research work in Restless Legs Syndrome, Headaches and Epilepsy has won top Neuroscience Research awards in consecutive years at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation in the United States. She is the Principal Investigator of the first NMRC funded clinical research study looking at Sleep Patterns in Parkinson’s Disease and Normal Controls in Singapore.

Currently she is studying sleep disorders in Singaporeans and sleep habits of adolescents in Singapore. [top]
